What could be better than a romantic springtime garden wedding at The Lace House in Columbia, SC? A crazy in love couple getting married there, of course! One of the first times I met Parker she told me I would photograph her wedding (whenever Michael proposed she added, sassy as always). When that day came I was beyond excited and couldn’t be happier with the beautiful wedding and coming together of two incredible people I was able to witness.
Parker chose The House for her perfect spring wedding because the grounds and house are beautiful and really set the backdrop for their big day. There is so much history on the property, and it felt special to be a part of that larger story.
For her something old, Parker wore her grandmother’s engagement ring.
Parker knew Michael was the one when she broke her ankle, “eight months into knowing Michael, and he made sure I was taken care of. He drove me to class, brought me macaroni and cheese from Yesterdays and took me grocery shopping. I knew that he was someone who would always take care of me, and I knew that I wanted to take care of him.”
Wondering how he proposed?
Another family heirloom was tucked into Parker’s bouquet.
There was nothing but laughs and smiles at this lovely spring garden wedding!
