Dreamy Portrait session inspired by Taylor Swift’s folklore with GlowSkateCo

Portrait sessions are my absolute favorite. I worked with Carly to create a dreamy, folklore inspired session. We were channeling “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac before it became popular on TikTok.

Portrait sessions give me the chance to really capture someone for who they are. Carly is sweet and soft. I felt like her session needed to capture that. We have worked together before, with her as the makeup artists, but this was the first time with her in front of my camera. Photographing Carly was a DREAM, just like our dreamy portrait session turned out to be.

Her pink floral dress and brown felt hat felt very 70s Boho to me. Using a blurry and dreamy effect, we were able to capture a vintage vibe for her summer time portraits.

Carly was ready for an adventure, understood the vision of our shoot, and was perfect in front of the camera. She is a local South Carolina business owner herself, a “skater ran business for those who shred!”
